Kia is reportedly expanding the EV6 lineup with a new Light Long Range trim that offers customers the larger battery pack at less cost. This is according to CarsDirect, which learned of the update via a leaked new order guide.
The new Light Long Range will be positioned between the Light and Wind trims, and carry a reported price tag of $45,950 (excl. destination). For cost-conscious buyers, that represents a saving of $2,750 compared to the 2024 Wind, which has an MSRP of $48,700. The entry-level Light (MY2023) comes in at $42,600.
While the base EV6 can travel 232 miles on a single charge, the RWD variants with the Long Range battery can manage 310 miles between trips to the local charging station. AWD models with 20-inch wheels manage 252 miles, but this is increased to 282 miles with 19-inch wheels.
