This is the heartbreaking moment a mother ran toward her infant son, who was in an ambulance after he was found unresponsive and covered in vomit, bodycam footage showed.
Charlie Cronmiller had been napping for two hours when he was found at the Little Lovey daycare in Dunwoody, Georgia — 20 miles outside of Atlanta — on Feb. 3, 2021.
Police bodycam footage captured Stephanie Cronmiller as took off running toward her baby, who was receiving CPR in the ambulance.

The second she was given permission, the mother, who was wearing a face mask, raced toward the vehicle.
Investigators said the infant, who died in October 2021, had been placed on his stomach when he was laid down for a nap, which goes against medical guidelines for his age. Surveillance footage showed Charlie was left alone for a couple of hours, according to 11 Alive.
Last month, daycare operator Amanda Harris Hickey, 48, pleaded guilty to even counts of first-degree child cruelty, seven counts of reckless conduct, one count of second-degree children cruelty, and three counts of battery. Hickey also held a seven-month-old by the leg before letting him go, causing him to hit his face, and in another incident, she held a 14-month-old by the hair to get them to lay down, 11 Alive reported.
”I know that there is nothing I can say in words to take away their pain, except take responsibility and express extreme sorrow for what I’ve done,” Hickey said in court, according to WGXA. “This is my legacy now.”
Stephanie said Hickey did not show “remorse” and was “only thing she’s sorry about is that she got caught,” the outlet reported.
“I focus on forgiving myself because I chose her,” the mother said.
Hickey will not be allowed to contact the victims or be near any child under 13 after she is released from prion.
