MJF Fails To Retrieve AEW World Title, Defeats Kenny Omega, Hikaru Shida Retains On Collision

Jay White defeated AR Fox in the opening match of Saturday night’s episode of AEW Collision, but MJF made an unexpected appearance following the bout.

As White beat Fox with a Blade Runner, the crowd began cheering for a man in a hoodie who attempted to steal the AEW World Championship.

The man in disguise turned out to be the champion, MJF, trying to retrieve his Triple B belt from the clutches of Bullet Club Gold.

MJF failed in his attempts and with the odds 4-to-1 against him, it was enough for MJF to avoid a fight.

Later in the main event, MJF defeated Kenny Omega to retain his title. He will face White at Full Gear 2023.

The match featured several Halloween-themed weapons, and Shida put a pumpkin on Abadon’s head before kicking her way to victory.
