Out of all of its key markets, the US, UK, and EMEA saw growth this year. The only key market that didn’t see growth was in China. Perhaps the lackluster infotainment system was part of the reason. Whereas sportiness and luxury are enough for buyers in many other parts of the world, the Chinese elite enjoy being chauffered around in technological palaces on wheels.
There’s no word on when we should expect the new infotainment to hit the DBX, but we imagine it will be in the next couple of years. The SUV has been on sale since 2020, so it’s due for a refresh. It’s possible when that happens we could also see a new variant of the DBX 707.
Aston Martin Lagonda senior vehicle engineering manager, Andy Tokley, previously said he’s interested in a lighter, more hardcore variant of the super SUV.
