New Koenigsegg Jesko Plus Is The Secret Jesko Variant You’ve Never Heard Of

When the Jesko was revealed, this seemed like the standard specification, but according to Koenigsegg’s updated website, not all Jeskos are capable of this. All Jeskos feature a “redesigned 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 1280 hp on standard gasoline and 1600 hp on E85 biofuel (in some markets),” says the site, suggesting not all markets will allow the Environmental Power Upgrade. For those that don’t, the Jesko will produce only 1,262 US horsepower.

However, regardless of the Plus denomination or not, all power is sent to the rear wheels via Koenigsegg’s groundbreaking Light Speed Transmission.

It sounds like a gnarly car, but luckily, the Jesko Attack is equipped with several features that help it transfer that power to the road. The most notable is the massive rear wing, which creates most of the downforce, up to 3,086 lbs of it at full speed. At 181.25 mph, it generates 2,204 lbs, and at 155 mph, it produces 1,543 lbs.
