A man of George Foreman’s stature would never be seen in a regular Ford Mustang Convertible, but this 1995 Saleen S351 Convertible is far from ordinary.
Purchased new, the S351 drop-top set Mr. Foreman back $57,266 in 1995. Equipped with a supercharged 5.8-liter V8 engine and five-speed manual transmission, this drop-top ‘Stang could run circles around other muscle cars thanks to 487 hp.
Foreman specified leather upholstery ($2,244), 18-inch magnesium wheels and Pirelli P Zero tires ($2,500), and a 3:27:1 differential ($813). The vehicle has covered just 732 miles, making it ideal for a collection or museum. $30,000 is the highest bid so far, with the auction closing on December 11.
There are many more interesting, exciting, and unusual cars up for grabs, so check out the whole lot and maybe you’ll walk away with a bargain.
