Taking the perfect picture can be difficult, even for the professionals. The lighting and angles need to be spot on – sometimes it can take ages to get just the right shot.
But sometimes, everything comes together and, with a bit of luck, the perfect shot is captured in one go.
That’s exactly what happened to Gavin Best, 43, when he was out for a walk with his mates in Belfast on New Year’s Eve.
Mr Best took a photo of the beautiful scenery but didn’t realise there was something incredible in the background.
He said: “When I looked at the photos afterwards on my mobile I didn’t spot anything; it was only a few days later when I was looking through the photos on my laptop that I noticed something over there, so I zoomed in.”
Gavin had unknowingly captured the moment someone jumped in the air, presumably for another photograph.
The tiny detail is hard to spot but when he zoomed in, Mr Best could see the tiny figure jumping in the air.
Speaking to The Mirror, he said: “I thought it was a hell of a coincidence that I’d happened to capture that exact moment – I hadn’t even realised there was anyone over there when I took the picture.
“By pure chance the timing was perfect and it created a funny shot. It would be pretty mad if you managed to find them.”
He shared the photo on Twitter and it has now been liked more than 1,200 times.
He added: “I posted the photo on Twitter because I thought it was a bit special and worth sharing.”
