New MCU fan art imagines the perfect superhero team to replace Marvel Studios’ Avengers. After Avengers: Endgame and the conclusion of the MCU’s Infinity Saga, the status of the Avengers remains unclear, with no sign of the team reforming prior to 2026’s Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, despite many new potential members being introduced to the franchise in Phases 4 and 5. In lieu of the MCU’s premiere superhero team, many new MCU teams have been teased, including the upcoming Thunderbolts, the Young Avengers, the Midnight Sons, and the Illuminati, but one potential team could come together to fix an Endgame mistake and make sense of the Multiverse Saga’s disconnected storylines.

Fixing a criticism from the early days of the MCU, Marvel Studios has recently been debuting a slew of powerful female heroes in live-action, which has supported theories that Marvel Comics’ A-Force could soon be forming. This team has been imagined in brilliant MCU fan art shared by bensolo_cup, bringing together twelve formidable female heroes.

Including Monica Rambeau, Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, the Scarlet Witch, Yelena Belova, Kate Bishop, Valkyrie, She-Hulk, Shuri’s Black Panther, Okoye, Ironheart, and the Wasp, this A-Force fan art depicts an incredibly powerful team. Avengers: Endgame included a controversial A-Force tease, but one recent project hints at the official MCU debut of the powerful superhero team.

The Marvels May Make An A-Force Project More Likely

Although Avengers: Endgame’s tease of the formation of A-Force wasn’t positively received, there are still hopes that the Marvel Comics team will make their way to the MCU. Endgame’s banding together of female heroes during the Battle of Earth felt unearned and needless, but Marvel Studios has recently displayed a much more positive teaming-up of some of the MCU’s most powerful female heroes. 2023’s The Marvels saw Carol Danvers’ Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau’s Photon and Kamala Khan’s Ms. Marvel come together to fight Kree villain Dar-Benn, and developed a brilliant sense of sisterhood and chemistry between its three heroes that could be expanded in an A-Force project.

The Marvels’ team-up worked so well because each of the three heroes had prior connections, which was a major missing factor in Endgame’s A-Force tease. Many of the heroes in Endgame had only just met each other. However, should an A-Force project happen in the MCU’s future, Endgame’s team-up can be used to solidify these bonds between heroes. This has already been showcased in The Marvels, as a friendship between Captain Marvel and Valkyrie, Asgard’s ruler, was established, presumably after the pair met in Endgame. Marvel Studios has begun to sow the seeds of A-Force in the MCU, and the team could replace or fight alongside the upcoming Avengers team.
