Production-Bound Toyota Urban SUV Concept Previews Future EVs

Despite the compact dimensions, the Urban SUV Concept boasts rugged styling, a generous ride height, and chunky off-road wheels. The front fascia adopts Toyota’s new Hammerhead styling treatment, as seen on the new Crown Signia SUV. In terms of size, the Urban SUV Concept measures 169.2 inches in length, 71.7 inches wide, and 63.8 inches tall. That makes it much smaller than the RAV4, Toyota’s best-selling vehicle in America.

It may be small, but the Japanese company promises the Urban SUV Concept has a spacious interior that can be configured to favor cargo space or passenger room. As mentioned, this is one of six electric vehicles that Toyota will introduce to the European market by 2026. Of course, we expect a handful of those to be sold in the United States. The only locally available EV from Toyota is the bZ4X, which hasn’t been selling very well, according to dealers.
