The New York Giants enjoyed a much-needed rest over the weekend, taking in the full slate of NFL games from the comfort of their own homes.

They returned to team facilities on Monday and will hit the practice field on Tuesday in advance of their fifth primetime game of the year, a Monday Night Football matchup against the Green Bay Packers.

As we enter Week 14, here’s a look at where the 4-8 Giants place in a multitude of power rankings.

Nate Davis, USA TODAY:

Christmas has arrived early, Big Blue set for a fifth prime-time game Monday night against Green Bay. And when Christmas actually rolls around, the G-Men will be back in an exclusive late-afternoon window to get steamrolled by Philadelphia. Rejoice.

Tommy “Cutlets” DeVito and Big Blue were on their bye week, so it was time for New Jersey to continue to celebrate its local hero.

Jarrett Bailey, Touchdown Wire:

Tyrod Taylor is possibly coming back in Week 14, so at least they’ll be somewhat watchable when the play the Packers on Monday night.

Dalton Miller, Pro Football Network:

The Giants just want this season to end, even after winning consecutive games. The Commanders’ defense let Tommy DeVito light them up, but that’s not an outcome the Giants can count on in the waning moments of the season.

New York’s best bet is to gear up for next season, draft well, and fill their massive offensive holes, particularly at wide receiver and on the offensive line.

Vinnie Iyer, The Sporting News:

The Giants should keep taking a long look at Tommy DeVito with Daniel Jones down as there have been some late sparks for the offense. Defense is hoping to become a brighter spot for Brian Daboll to push for a finish to inspire in 2024.

Frank Schwab, Yahoo! Sports:

Tyrod Taylor seems to be close to a return, but why change from Tommy DeVito? After a horrid start, DeVito has been much better. If Devito crumbles down the stretch, it’s not like he’s costing the Giants a playoff spot. And maybe the Giants will find they have something in the 25-year-old.

Josh Schrock, NBC Sports:

After a so-so start to his NFL career, Tommy DeVito authored back-to-back good outings in wins over the Commanders and Patriots. His agent also told NFL Media that the undrafted rookie turned down significantly more money from Washington in order to play for the hometown Giants. Cult hero status is rising.
