Chevrolet announced the Camaro’s discontinuation back in March. The Camaro Collector’s Edition is the brand’s send-off for the nameplate, where the 350 limited examples are finished in Panther Black.

Chevy hasn’t announced a direct successor for the Camaro. However, the automaker said, “This is not the end of Camaro’s story.” If it sounds familiar, the Camaro was discontinued in 2002 before returning in 2010 as the fifth-gen iteration. The now-outgoing sixth-gen arrived in 2016.

With the industry favoring electrification, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the Camaro go electric. For now, the nameplate is again taking a break, with the Chevy Corvette the only one left in the brand’s performance car lineup.
