Former F1 Champ Jenson Button Will Drive A Porsche 963 For Team Jota At 2024 WEC

The expanded WEC grid will see the return of former Formula 1 world champion Jenson Button to the sport. Per Motorsport, the 43-year-old British racing driver will race full-time in a Porsche 963 with Hertz Team Jota.

Button will be driving the #38 hypercar along with teammates Oliver Rasmussen and Phil Hanson. “I’m thrilled to racing with Hertz Team Jota in the 2024 WEC alongside my team-mates Oliver and Phil,” said Button.

Of note, Hertz Team Jota’s Porsche 963 LMDh race cars will be wearing a golden livery designed by Singer – best known for its classic Porsche 911-based projects.
