First announced in April this year, the wheels entered production this month, with global deliveries starting early in 2024.

Pricing on Bridgestone’s Japanese site currently ranges from ¥52,800 (or about $370 at current exchange rates) to ¥53,900 ($379), depending on configuration.

Bridgestone hasn’t confirmed US pricing, but MX-5 Miata enthusiast site Rev9 Autosport has the 4×100 versions listed for $253.74 per wheel at present on special, regularly retailing for $528 per wheel.

Bridgestone isn’t the only wheel manufacturer that’s decided now is a good time to revive steelies. Earlier in 2023, Japanese wheel manufacturer Enkei brought back a similarly designed lightweight alloy, proving that retro is in fashion right now. While we were fans of Enkei’s design, we can’t help but feel Bridgestone’s option looks more like the genuine item.
