David Finlay Wins IWGP Global Title, Brawls With Nic Nemeth At Wrestle Kingdom 18

David Finlay is the first-ever IWGP Global Champion, but the new holder of the gold may have already found his first challenger in Nic Nemeth.

At NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18, Finlay defeated Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley to win the title, which is replacing the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship.

After the match, Finlay got in the face of Nemeth, who made his NJPW debut earlier in the show. The two would trade verbal barbs before brawling.
