American actress Lisa Bonet, whose legal name is Lilakoi Moon, has officially filed for divorce from Aquaman actor Jason Momoa. The couple had been in this relationship for 18 years; however, they announced their separation two years ago, in January 2022. The 56-year-old actress submitted the legal documents in Los Angeles County to end her marriage with 44-year-old Momoa. The reason for divorce is mentioned as irreconcilable differences. The divorce filing states that neither of them is seeking financial support from each other. The couple is supposed to equally divide their assets.

Momoa and Bonet have decided to keep joint custody of their children, 16-year-old daughter Lola and 15-year-old son Nakoa Wolf, for their responsibilities as parents. The duo announced splitting up in January 2022, while the official divorce documents mentioned the official date of separation in October 2020, implying around a year before the public revelation. It will take around six months for them to be declared officially divorced by a judge.

Jason Momoa is widely known for his roles in the Aquaman movie and Game of Thrones. Lisa Bonet has been featured in The Cosby Show, A Different World, The Enemy of the State, and High Fidelity. Jason Momoa was previously engaged to the actress Simmone Jade Mackinnon, whom he met in 1999 during the shoot of Baywatch. They got engaged in 2004, but they called it off as Momoa started dating Bonet in 2005.

It was believed that Jason and Lisa got married in 2007, after the birth of their daughter; however, they got legally married in 2017. It was delightful for the fans to see their romance turn into matrimony. This was the first marriage for Jason Momoa, while Lisa Bonet has been previously married to Lenny Kravitz, and they are the parents of actress and musician Zoe Kravitz.
