Dodge Complete Performance Package Could Be The Best Muscle Car Warranty Ever

Dodge has just unveiled the ultimate package for drivers who want to get the most out of their new Challenger, Charger, or Durango, called the Dodge Complete Performance Package. This package is half an extended warranty package and half a driver’s package, as it includes a day of instruction at the Radford Racing School – Dodge’s high-performance racing school in Chandler, Arizona.

The company says this is the first package ever offered by Mopar Vehicle Protection to include a performance driving program. If you ask us, we think it’s one of the coolest additions we’ve ever seen because experiences like this are usually only offered to buyers of extreme high-performance vehicles like the Challenger SRT Demon 170.

What Does The Package Cover?

First and foremost, this is an added protection package that Dodge says covers more than 5,000 critical components in your vehicle, with anything from your AC to your transmission, engine, and beyond – a more complete list can be viewed at the bottom of this article. The plan complements your factory warranty with six-year/75,000-mile coverage, but pricing is going to vary based on your location and the type of vehicle you want covered.

This package even covers things like lube, oil and filter services, tire rotations, coverage of factory-recommended scheduled maintenance, and replacement of most wear/tear components, including worn tire replacement and roadside assistance. Need a new wiper blade? It’s covered. Blown bulb? Covered. The windshield has a crack? Covered. Heck, the package even offers up to $7,500 a year for wheel repair. Now this is an extended warranty we can get behind.

You’ll Learn To Drive Your Car Like A Boss

By far, the best part about the entire plan is the addition of a day of instruction at the Radford Racing School, which replaced the iconic Bondurant Racing School in 2021. This one-day experience, which Dodge says is valued at $1,500, will let you hone your skills in the slalom and autocross courses as well as give you the opportunity to perform some hot laps behind the wheel of school-provided Dodge/SRT vehicles. So, no worries about having to bring your own.

The goal is to teach drivers the skills necessary to handle vehicles with power over 700 horses, learn how to avoid accidents, and perform evasive maneuvers when necessary. These experiences are strictly for owners of Dodge/SRT vehicles, and thus, you need to give your VIN to enter. Of course, with it being included in this package, that won’t be an issue, but to qualify for this package, there are some important caveats.

How To Qualify

To qualify, your vehicle must have been purchased in the last four months and must not have over 5,000 miles on the odometer. Additionally, it must be covered by the original factory five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty, though it’s not entirely clear if this means the vehicle had to be purchased brand-new.
