The ultra-luxurious home has been created by an Estonian firm called ÖÖD.

And due to its unique mirror finish, designers say the house can change its appearance “throughout the day and across the season”.

On the inside, the space has been filled with lavish fittings and features bespoke materials and premium finishes.

And to their portable nature, these tiny housing units can be taken anywhere – from inside a vast jungle to the heart of a desert.

This would allow hotel operators to place the 5-star room in the middle of nature, “offering guests an immersive experience in stunning environments”.

ÖÖD say they have limited production to just 79 of the units, reflecting the element of gold’s atomic number.

Around thirty are expected to be sold in Europe and the US with the remainder placed in the Middle East and other exclusive destinations.

Jaak Tiik, ÖÖD co-founder, said: “Each detail of the Golden House was crafted with a vision of creating something truly special place that offers not only a unique living experience but also a work of art in its own right.”

Andreas Tiik, fellow co-founder, added “We wanted to design a space where nature and luxury co-exist harmoniously.”

The company said: “The Golden House is a true innovation in luxury living. Featuring custom golden-shimmering glass, the house interacts dynamically with its surroundings, changing its appearance throughout the day and across seasons.

“The reflective golden surfaces create a sense of seamless connection with nature.”

Ahead of the official 10 October launch, the company has already received over 110 inquiries for the limited 79 houses, “reflecting the strong demand for this exclusive offering”.

It comes after a man revealed what life is like living in one of the world’s smallest homes.

Travel lover Ryan is currently living in a 100 sq ft apartment in South Korea, which has no windows to the outside world.

Sharing a video of the apartment to social media Ryan revealed that the tiny home consists of a small single bed in one corner of the room and a toilet and shower in the other corner.

At the end of the bed, there is a little desk, and hanging from the ceiling is a washing line.

Separating the bedroom from the bathroom is a transparent sheet of glass, meaning there would be no privacy if Ryan were ever to invite a guest around to his apartment.

In the bathroom, the shower hangs in a corner above the sink.

Meanwhile, a homeowner revealed she turned a storage unit into her forever home as she said she always wanted to live in a small space.

Anna had kitted the tiny home out with her favourite possessions and the living room and kitchen area were decorated using black, red and natural wood for a cosy feel.

She got herself a two-seater brown leather sofa to squeeze into the tiny front room along with an armchair that she covered with a fur blanket and cushions to keep warm.

While her house looked tiny from the outside she’d also managed to put in a bedroom for herself with a double bed and plenty of storage.

The bathroom was also fully equipped with a toilet, sink and even a shower.

Are tiny homes legal in the UK?

TINY houses can be UK regardless of whether they are on a trailer base or not. The legality of tiny houses is all to do with where it is and what you use it for.

use it for.

If you want to put your tiny house in the back garden of the home that you own, and the overall size of your tiny house  does not exceed 19.8m x 6.7m (65ft x 22ft), then good news! You do not require planning permission.

Tiny houses that fit within these dimensions and are constructed on trailer bases are legally classified as caravans, which means you can legally park them within the curtilage of your home without planning permission.

If this is your plan, then it is a legal requirement that you only use the tiny house as additional living space, like an office, a gym, or a studio, but you cannot rent out the space to a tenant.

For those of you who live on farmland, what is defined as curtilage can be complicated. In these cases, and under any circumstances where you are unsure, we recommend that you speak to your local planning officer.

You can put a tiny house on your land as a temporary structure for 28 days, but for any longer than this we recommend that you speak to your local planning officer as different permissions will be required.
