Anne Hathaway’s Comfy Fall Uniform Made Her Own Foot Pop

Mia Thermopolis may have wanted a perfect kiss to make her foot pop in The Princess Diaries, but Anne Hathaway knows the same feeling can come from a great OOTD.

Just one day after announcing the third installment of the iconic early ’00s franchise, Hathaway references the film’s iconic moment while breaking down her casual “not trying very hard at all outfit of the day.”

“Foot pop!” she said on Instagram while showing off a pair of white Adidas Sambas. “These are my shoes. Everyone has them. I have them too,” she says in her TikTok video, which features a more in-depth look at her outfit and the contents of her new slouchy bag, a recent anniversary gift from her husband, Adam Shulman.

Hathaway may not have shared where she got every single item she was wearing, but the beauty of the look lies in its simplicity. One does not have to search far and wide for a pair of comfy sweatpants, a black hoodie, or an oversized denim jacket—in fact, you probably already have all of those pieces already. Of course, what really pulled this look together was Anne Hathaway’s cute pigtail braids and “Yes” baseball cap. “Sunglasses are a must,” Hathaway points out, tapping on her square tortoiseshell shades. It’s unclear what brand many of these items are, but a “Vote” cap certainly wouldn’t be out of place, considering Hathaway shared this video as part of her countdown to the 2024 presidential election series.

As for an update on what’s in her bag—which she previously revealed in another TikTok video from the series—Hathaway shows off her monogrammed headphone case and a Post-it note reminding viewers it was 30 days until the election (now 28). “What are you gonna do?” Hathaway asks her fans. “I am going to work on my absentee ballot. That’s what I’m going to do.”

Now that’s certainly worth a foot pop.
