PATRÓN Tequila Brings The Green Room Series To Life, With Exclusive MisterWives Performance

PATRÓN Tequila teamed up with Rolling Stone on Saturday, October 5th in Austin, TX to kick off the city’s largest annual music festival with the debut of The Green Room event – a one of a kind experience that gives fans the chance to get up close and personal with their favorite artists before they hit the main stage.

The event immersed fans in the vibrant energy and excitement of an artist’s green room, a backstage haven typically reserved only for VIPs. Attendees enjoyed complimentary PATRÓN cocktails, danced with friends under the Texas sun, and experienced an intimate performance by New York based indie pop band, MisterWives. For MisterWives, the event served as a celebration marking the start of their latest tour before taking a much-needed break – their first in ten years – to rest and recharge.

Prior to the show, the band sat down with Rolling Stone News Supervising Producer, Delisa Shannon, for an exclusive interview. They cheerfully reminisced about a decade of touring and spoke about some of their special pre-and post-show celebration rituals, many of which involve PATRÓN Tequila. “PATRÓN is a win-win across the board,” said lead singer Mandy Lee with a cheeky smile, noting how the Tequila’s additive-free quality makes it their go-to choice for band celebrations.

MisterWives weren’t the only familiar faces at the event. Reality TV personality Zach Shallcross and his fiancée Kaity Biggar were spotted mingling with guests, clearly enjoying themselves as they sipped on Ranch Water cocktails. Jenna Palek, a local lifestyle influencer, posed with her All Access Margarita in front of a photo-worthy Green Room speaker wall. “I enjoyed having a cocktail in hand as I watched Misterwives and chatted with people at the event,” Palek told Rolling Stone.

When MisterWives took the stage, fans quickly gathered around to watch their electric performance. The band lit up the stage with saxophone solos and impressive vocal runs, energizing the crowd to jump and sing along to their favorite songs.

MisterWives closed out their performance by raising a glass to the crowd and toasting to an unforgettable event. “Thank you so much to PATRÓN Tequila, to Rolling Stone. We’re so honored to be here with each and every single one of you,” Lee told the audience. Following the toast, Lee hopped into the crowd for the most special moment of the event as fans danced around her belting the band’s hit song, “Reflections.”

The intimate performance was just one highlight of what made this event the ultimate pre-festival experience. The venue itself and its thoughtfully designed space created an exciting atmosphere that had fans snapping photos at every turn. Guests entered the event through a giant cutout wall in the shape of the iconic PATRÓN bottle, which led them down a “backstage” hallway featuring a photo gallery of iconic artists captured by Rolling Stone, including longstanding PATRÓN partner Becky G.
