The Bachelor season 28’s winning couple Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson have been in the spotlight for months, but after Dancing With The Stars season 33 concludes, I believe the pair need to take a break from the spotlight for the sake of their relationship. Throughout the course of Joey’s time with The Bachelor franchise, it’s been clear that he’s happy to be in the spotlight. While Joey’s appearance on The Bachelorette season 20 with Charity Lawson wasn’t what he expected, the heartbreaking experience wasn’t without benefits. Though Kelsey was likely happy to be joining Joey in LA during his time on Dancing With The Stars, it seems likely that in the future, giving up her pre- Bachelor life could be something that bothers her. Joey’s time on the show may be fleeting, but Kelsey’s life, career, and future aren’t going anywhere. She may regret having left her home behind to support Joey, especially depending on what happens in their relationship in the future. While Kelsey is working hard to maintain her independence, it’s clear that she’s doing so while keeping her fiance Joey top of her mind.

Although Joey and Kelsey have been doing what they can to preserve their relationship in the face of public scrutiny, the couple have been working so hard that they could become burnt out. While they seem to be in good spirits when it comes to each other, Joey and Kelsey could eventually find it too taxing to continually defend their relationship from such criticism. I think The Bachelor stars need a break before their next project together.
