Police are searching for a woman after a schoolgirl was assaulted with a bottle of wine, causing injuries to her face.

The incident took place following an ‘altercation’ between the suspect and a 14-year-old girl at the Hollywood Bowl in Sheffield, at around 10.50pm on October 12.

Police have today released CCTV images of a woman they would like to speak to in connection with the alleged assault.

The woman in question has been described as in her early 20s with dark hair, and footage of the altercation shows her wearing a dark dress with a white jacket.

A spokesperson for the force said: ‘It is reported that a 14-year-old girl was involved in an altercation at Hollywood Bowl, Broughton Lane, Sheffield.
