Warning! Spoilers for Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 2, ahead!
The Sekai Taikai saw a wide variety of rivals face off in a brutal brawl in Cobra Kai season 6, part 2, though not in the way anyone expected. Rather than organized matches, all hell broke loose when the administrator was knocked unconscious, and the competing dojos went to war with one another. Many of the major characters from Miyagi-Do, Cobra Kai, and the Iron Dragon had a chance to face off with their rivals with nothing held back. There were no points to determine the winners in these Cobra Kai matches—it was all about whoever was left standing.
The Sekai Taikai brawl broke out in Cobra Kai season 6, part 2, episode 10, “Eunjangdo,” during what was supposed to be the final rounds of the competition. With dozens of kids and adults at each others’ throats, it wasn’t easy for opponents to stay focused on one another. Miyagi-Do students like Sam, Demetri, Hawk, Kenny, and Devon fought a wide variety of fighters from different dojos, though none of these were particularly important characters. However, the matches involving some other characters in Cobra Kai had deeply important outcomes.
Miguel Vs. Axel
Winner: Axel
Things got tense between Miguel and Axel previously in Cobra Kai season 6, part 2 because the Iron Dragon captain had gained some feelings for Sam. When he attempted to kiss her, he was kindly turned down, but Axel carried resentment for Miguel from that point forward. So, when the brawl began, these boys began to duke it out. Though not necessarily a villain, Axel is a powerful and dangerous fighter who has obliterated his competition throughout the entirety of the Sekai Taikai. Miguel put up a good fight, but after a while, he wound up stuck in Axel’s headlock.
Axel can essentially be given the win here, but his fight with Miguel was cut short when he noticed Kwon kick Sam, who was trying to defend Robby. This caused Axel to drop Miguel and come to Sam’s aid by engaging Kwon in battle instead.
Robby & Kwon
Winner: Kwon
The second that the brawl of Cobra Kai season 6, part 2 broke out, Kwon went straight for Robby. John Kreese’s new star Cobra Kai student had been doing all he could to get under Robby’s skin, implying repeatedly that he was sleeping with Tory. However, Robby eventually pulled it together, giving Kwon a significant beating during the final elimination round. This was supposed to be the end of Cobra Kai dojo’s involvement in the Sekai Taikai, but another team’s cheating meant that Kwon continued on in the competition, giving him a shot to get even with Robby.
Robby Absolutely Let The Miyagi-Do Team Down In Cobra Kai’s Sekai Taikai
Robby’s teammates weren’t very happy with him at the Sekai Taikai in Cobra Kai season 6, part 2, but they had a pretty good reason.
This time around, Kwon had a leg up on Robby. He was clearly full of rage, and with so much confusion, Robby began to fall short. Kwon can take the victory here, which is why Sam jumped in to try to give Robby some relief. The Cobra Kai boy kicked Sam away, and this caused Axel to abandon his fight with Miguel and begin sparring with Kwon instead.
Zara Vs. Tory
Winner: Tory (With Robby’s Help)
Though Tory lost her own fight, she won with Robby’s help.
Like Kwon and Robby, Zara and Tory were natural enemies from the beginning of the Sekai Taikai. This went beyond fierce competition—Zara had taken advantage of a drunk Robby, and Tory naturally found out that the two had hooked up. She was heartbroken, but this translated into rage. Tory and Zara’s Cobra Kai fight was pretty epic, but the latter girl ended up pinning Tory to the ground, hitting her with blow after blow with no route of escape. However, Robby came to Tory’s rescue and made it clear that he would choose her over Zara any day. Though Tory lost her own fight, she won with Robby’s help.
Daniel LaRusso Vs. De Guzman
Winner: Daniel
Daniel fought De Guzman previously in Cobra Kai season 6, part 2, but this wasn’t the first time. These two characters faced off way back in The Karate Kid Part III, when De Guzman was called Dennis, played by William Christopher Ford. Dennis had destroyed Mr. Miyagi’s bonsai tree shop, and Daniel claimed an easy win over the boy in revenge. After his abduction in Cobra Kai, Daniel again beat Dennis “De Guzman,” and the same happened during the Sekai Taikai brawl. Daniel kicked the man right in the face, taking him out for the rest of the fight.
Sensei Kim & Chozen Vs. Sensei Ivanov & Students
Winners: Sensei Kim & Chozen
Sensei Kim filled the villain role perfectly in Cobra Kai, but this all changed in season 6, part 2. She and Chozen found some common ground, and a small redemption was set up for the fierce Cobra Kai sensei. This ultimately led to a team-up between the pair, and they helped one another takedown Sensei Ivanov and his students, who had started the big Sekai Taikai brawl after being disqualified from the tournament. While these were clearly powerful opponents, Sensei Kim and Chozen proved themselves to be an effective team. They claimed a clear win in the end.
Johnny Lawrence & Daniel LaRusso Vs. Sensei Wolf
Winner: Incomplete
Johnny didn’t like Sensei Wolf the moment the man selfishly took the rest of the steak off the buffet. Then, the rivalry got even more intense in Cobra Kai season 6, part 2, when Johnny realized that Wolf was the sensei for the most formidable team in attendance—the Iron Dragons. After days of insults, Johnny and Wolf couldn’t pass up a chance to lay into one another. Unfortunately, Johnny didn’t hold up as well as he could have. He might have turned the tides of the fight, but after Wolf knocked Johnny to the ground, Johnny noticed Kreese running off into the wings and followed him.
Just before Johnny disappeared, Daniel joined him in the fight against Wolf. However, once Johnny ran off after Kreese, Daniel was left alone in the fight. He performed a bit better than his co-sensei in this particular fight, but there was no definitive winner since the crowd pushed Wolf away out of sight. Just as this happened, Daniel noticed Kwon picking up the Eunjangdo and desperately tried to get across the floor and stop him.
John Kreese Vs. Terry Silver
Winner: Terry Silver
When the brawl of Cobra Kai season 6, part 2 broke out, John Kreese noticed Terry Silver attempting to make an escape. Seeing an opportunity, he put his Eunjangdo knife into his belt and followed his old friend. Unfortuantely for him, Kreese lost the knife before he reached Silver, so he was left to fight with only his firsts. Kreese had proven himself to be a powerful fighter in the past, but he didn’t have the advantage over Terry Silver. He took a fair beating and might even have been killed if Johnny hadn’t jumped out of the wings and kicked Silver in the face.

Johnny Lawrence Vs. Terry Silver
Winner: Johnny Lawrence
Johnny fought Terry Silver back in Cobra Kai season 4, but it didn’t go well for him. Silver had the element of surprise back then and kicked Johnny right in the head, leaving him disoriented for the rest of the fight. In Cobra Kai season 6, part 2, Johnny got to repay the favor. He jumped out of nowhere and kicked Silver in the head before he could do further harm to John Kreese. As they continued to fight, Johnny had the clear edge. Silver struggled to block any of Johnny’s hits, while his opponent effortlessly blocked anything he tried to throw at him. Johnny was likely the winner, but the fight was ultimately interrupted by the disturbing sound of Kwon’s scream.
Axel Vs. Kwon
Winner: Axel
Axel and Kwon didn’t necessarily have beef before the Cobra Kai season 6, part 2 brawl, but their fight ended up being the most impactful of the night. After Kwon kicked Sam, Axel became enraged and attacked the Cobra Kai boy. It would be hard to deny that Axel is the strongest competitor in the Sekai Taikai, and though Kwon was strong, he simply couldn’t get a hit in the Iron Dragon captain. Every failed attempt left Kwon even more enraged. So, when he found the Eunjangdo on the ground, Kwon couldn’t resist but picked it up to secretly use against his opponent.
Kwon was exceptionally skilled at delivering high kicks—he had proven this during his contest with Robby earlier in Cobra Kai season 6, part 2.
Kwon was exceptionally skilled at delivering high kicks—he had proven this during his contest with Robby earlier in Cobra Kai season 6, part 2. Unfortunately, this wound up being his undoing. He attempted to deliver a spectacular kick, which he planned to use only to mask his attack with the Eunjangdo. However, Axel effortlessly knocked Kwon out of the air, not knowing that the boy was holding a blade. When Kwon landed, he was impaled by his sensei’s knife. Axel claimed the final victory of the Cobra Kai season 6, part 2 brawl, though Kwon’s death was never what he had intended.
