It’s GagaChella once again. On Wednesday, Coachella announced the stacked lineup for this year’s festival, which features Lady Gaga, Post Malone, Travis Scott, and Green Day as headliners for the April 11-13 and 25-27 festival.
“Death, taxes, and rock & roll,” Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day tells Rolling Stone. “In this world gone sideways, we know one thing for certain: rock & roll is forever, and its spirit is needed now more than ever. So bring your rage, your hope, and your loudest voice. Coachella, let’s have the time of our lives.”
“I have long dreamed of throwing a massive night of chaos in the desert. I’ve had a vision I’ve never been able to fully realize at Coachella for reasons beyond our control but I wanted to come through for music fans,” Gaga added in her own post. “I have been wanting to go back and to do it right, and I am.”
Missy Elliott, Megan Thee Stallion, and Charli XCX will take on second-line slots. The Misfits, the Marías, Benson Boone, FKA twigs, Anitta, Clairo, the Go-Gos, Enhypen, Keshi, and more stars are also performing.
Scott — who takes on a special headlining slot — will design an immersive and experiential experience called CatcusCon for the entire weekend, and will perform on Saturday night following Green Day’s set, sources tell Rolling Stone.
Scott’s performance, ushering in a new era of music, will come five years after he was set to headline the 2020 edition that was canceled due to Covid. Scott last performed at the fest in 2017 in a second-line slot, headlining the Outdoor Theater stage.
The festival will also see the return of Blackpink members Jennie and Lisa performing separately at the fest after the girl group headlined two years ago. Enhypen and XG will also represent K-pop at the event. Iván Cornejo and Junior H will sing for Música Mexicana in the desert. Alok, Arca, Artemas, A.G. Cook, and EDM label Kenemusik will represent electronic music. CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Anitta, Rawayama, El Malilla, Peruvian group Los Mirlos, and Judeline will take the baton for Latin music.

On Tuesday, Rolling Stone confirmed that Malone would perform a “mind-blowing set” on the Sunday nights of the festival, with a source saying it will be a “perfect precursor to his stadium tour.” Rolling Stone also confirmed Scott and Green Day’s slots earlier on Wednesday.
Malone hinted at his headlining slot at the festival when he included “Indio, CA,” where the festival is held on his tour poster for the Big Ass Stadium Tour, his run for 2025. He’ll return to the desert this year after headlining Stagecoach last year with a set filled with guests and country music covers.
