Nicholas Hoult and Wife Bryana Holly’s Relationship Timeline

Nicholas Hoult found his forever person in wife Bryana Holly.

Hoult and Holly were first linked in March 2017. One year later, the duo welcomed their first child, son Joaquin, in April 2018.

“They have kept the news under wraps, but are so happy and excited,” a source told People at the time.

The couple went on to welcome a second child — whose name and sex have not been publicly announced— in 2022.

While Hoult and Holly have kept their relationship private, Hoult revealed that he had secretly married Holly after referring to her as his wife during an interview at the 2024 Governors Awards.

“I think it’s fairly clear,” Hoult told People following rumors that he and Holly tied the knot.

Although Hoult has stayed pretty mum about his romantic life, he previously opened up about fatherhood.

“The levels of tiredness are extreme. No one warns you about it! But the level of love that comes with it outweighs everything. It’s phenomenal,” he told the Evening Standard in January 2019. “I’m loving it. And it evolves all the time. They change so much, every day is different. It fills you up as a human completely.”

Hoult said that he wasn’t “possessive” over things like sharing a space with Holly.

“She can put her stuff wherever she likes,” he told The Journal at the time. “My dad was an air pilot so he was flying a lot, and I grew up with my two sisters and my mum so I was used to ‘girl things’ being around and a ‘girl environment’ in the household.”

People confirmed that Hoult and Holly had welcomed a son, Joaquin.

“I’m loving it,” Hoult shared on the Late Late Show With James Corden in May 2020, referring to fatherhood. “It’s mad. It’s a learning curve, isn’t it? There’s a lot to take in. But overall, it’s like that time again, it brings back a lot of memories of your childhood.”

Hoult and Holly welcomed another child whose name and sex has yet to be revealed.

The couple stepped out for a rare date night at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Philadelphia 76ers game.

Holly took to social media to share several photos of her and Hoult on their seventh anniversary.

“7 years ,” she wrote via Instagram alongside a carousel of pictures of the duo including one of them kissing on the beach and a selfie of them in front of the Eiffel Tower.

November 2024

While talking about Holly’s reaction to his upcoming horror film Nosferatu, Hoult referred to her as his “wife.”

Afterwards, I remember I had my wife’s nails imprinted on my hand,” he told E! News at the time. “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this was tense.’”

After speculation that the duo had secretly married, Hoult seemingly confirmed it later that month.

“I feel like it’s fairly [clear] from my comments,” he told People at the time.
