Russian strikes on Ukraine killed at least one person and injured 22 over the past day, local authorities reported on Friday.

Moscow launched 132 drones at Ukraine overnight, according to a report from Ukraine’s Air Force. Some 88 drones were reportedly shot down by Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile units.

One person was killed after Russia targeted settlements in Kherson, and another nine were injured, Governor Oleksandr Prokudin said.

Seven people were injured in Odesa, and four were sent to the hospital. Others were injured in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy and Kyiv, according to local media.

Across the border, Ukrainian forces struck an oil depot in Russia’s Rostov region and destroyed a Russian-controlled radar station in Zaporizhzhia overnight, Ukraine’s General Staff also said on Friday.

Fires broke out because of the strike, the military statement read. The depot is reportedly part of the Russian military-industrial complex and supplies petroleum products to the Russian army. Ukraine previously targeted it this summer.

The Ukrainian military also attacked eight districts of the borderline Belgorod region, injuring two civilians, according to the region’s Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.

Kyiv sent a total of 65 munitions and 30 unmanned aerial vehicles into Russia over the last day, Russian media reported on Friday. Euronews could not independently confirm these claims.
