The Everlane Ballet Flats I’m Obsessed With are 50% Off for Black Friday

Though my friends had long touted how fab their basics are (especially in the denim department), I only recently understood the hype when I tried their ballet flats this summer and haven’t wanted to take them off since. Now that my all-time favorite pair is 50% off–along with pretty much the entire site–see, I told you they had some stellar Black Friday clothing deals, I’m taking advantage by grabbing these velvet beauties for the holidays and these in the neutral toasted almond. You see, I’ve been wearing ballet flats for the past 25 years (well before they were declared a fall fashion trend) so I know a thing or two about how they should feel, the blisters they almost always punish you with, and where they should hit on the heel, and these dreamily soft ballerinas are the only pair I’ve ever owned that has had no break in period. I’ve walked miles upon miles in with nary in a pain (though I’d be lying if the toe didn’t suffer a little wear and tear). And yesterday I ran out in them in the rain (oops) and they didn’t stain. They do run a bit large though, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go down a step.
