Britain’s richest street offers everything you need to have-from luxury shopping to affluent real estate it has it all. Knightsbridge is one of the most exclusive and affluent areas in London, located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Known for its luxury shopping, prestigious real estate, and proximity to notable landmarks such as Hyde Park and Harrods, Knightsbridge has become synonymous with wealth and sophistication.

One need to shell out a whooping £21.4 million to live there, as per the data collated by Lloyds bank

The area is home to some of the biggest names in entertainment, fashion, and the arts. Celebrities from the film, music, and sports worlds have chosen Knightsbridge for its proximity to London’s cultural landmarks and luxury amenities.

The street is peppered with grand, elegant townhouses and is a key part of this iconic London neighbourhood.

Knightsbridge is home to One Hyde Park, the exclusive luxury apartments developed by property moguls Nick and Christian Candy.

A little more than two miles away, Ilchester Place in the Holland Park area of Kensington ranks second, with an average price of £19.4 million.

The area is also home to a host of A-list celebrities, including Robbie Williams, Jimmy Page, David and Victoria Beckham, and Simon Cowell.

In second place, just over two miles away, is Ilchester Place in the Holland Park area of Kensington. Designed by Leonard Martin between 1869 and 1935, Ilchester Place was previously known as Holland Lane. The average property price here is a staggering £19.4 million.

On the north side of the street, large, expensive houses overlook Holland Park itself.

In third place is Grosvenor Square (last year’s most expensive), one of the largest squares in London, where the average property now costs £19 million.

Amanda Bryden, Head of Mortgages, Lloyds said: “London’s dominance in the list of priciest streets underscores the city’s continued appeal and the resulting competitiveness at the very top end of the property market.

“However, at £21.4 million to buy a home, even those with the deepest pockets might baulk at the price.”
