Two people in same county have won £1,000,000 on the Lotto and don’t know it

Two lucky Lotto players could be starting the new year as millionaires.

Players in Buckinghamshire are being urged to check and double-check their tickets for two unclaimed prizes each worth a cool £1 million.

Both matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball in the draw on December 14. Five ticket-holders scooped the £1 million prize – but only three have come forward to claim it.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery said: ‘There could be two Buckinghamshire locals out there who have now become millionaires and they don’t even know it yet!

‘If you bought a Lotto ticket in Buckinghamshire for the draw on 14 December, it’s time to look everywhere – in the pockets of clothes you might have been wearing at the time, in bags, in the car, wallets and purses and in that sideboard or drawer where we all tend to put bits and pieces – and check your tickets.  

‘Do you live or work in this area, do you have family and friends there who you were visiting or were you just passing through?

‘We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and pay out their life-changing prize – just in time for the new year! Our fingers crossed that these lucky winners come forward to claim their win.’ 

The winning Lotto numbers on December 14 were 1, 11, 12, 17, 19, 54 and the Bonus Ball was 3.

The lucky ticket-holders have until June 12, 2025, to claim their prize.  

Anyone not in possession of their ticket, for whatever reason, but who believes they have a genuine claim can still make a claim in writing to The National Lottery, but it must be within 30 days of the draw.
