Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and his wife, Cristina Serra, are getting divorced after 10 years of marriage, reports in Spain have said.
Spanish newspaper Sport said they agreed to part ways last month but their relationship is still “cordial, stable and friendly”.
Sport claimed they have been living apart for nearly five years after Ms Serra, 52, moved back to Barcelona to run her fashion company while her husband stayed in Manchester, where he has coached City since 2016.
Since then, their relationship has been more like “living apart together” than a normal marriage, the paper said on its website.
They were often seen together, however, such as for outings like going to Wimbledon last summer.
The couple wed in Barcelona, where Guardiola played most of his career, in 2014 after meeting in the city 20 years earlier.
Guardiola, 53, and Ms Serra have three children together, Maria, Marius and Valentina.
Eldest daughter Maria, 24, is a model who has over 900,000 followers on Instagram.
Marius, 22, lives in Dubai and is the CEO of three companies, while Valentina, 17, is studying.
Guardiola is one of the most successful football players and managers of all time.
As a player he won six league titles and a European Cup with Barcelona, while as a manager he has three Champions Leagues and 12 league titles during spells at City, Barca and Bayern Munich, along with more than 20 other honours.
