These are the luckiest numbers to draw if you want to win the National Lottery

Around 45 million people play the National Lottery each week but the chances of winning a big amount are minuscule.

But new data from Betway reveals the luckiest numbers – plus the combinations that could help you on the path to fortune.

It found that 37 and 52 are the luckiest numbers, because they both appear 117 times on a winning ticket between October 2015 to January 2025.

Coming in at a hot second is the number 39, which has been drawn 115 times.

Third position goes to the number 58, drawn a total of 114 times.

Then there is the question of the most frequent combinations that are drawn in the lottery.

The numbers 2 and 54 claimed the top spot as the most likely pair to be drawn – with the lucky duo appearing 20 times.

This is followed by the numbers 37 and 42, which have been drawn 19 times.

The lucky numbers don’t stop there because the most frequent number triplet combinations are 14, 19, and 38, drawn a total of six times. 

Numbers 1, 20, and 24 emerged as another fortunate trio, while 2, 23, and 54 appeared six times.

Other studies done in the past also reveal some of the lucky numbers that could mean you are in with a chance of hitting the jackpot.

In other news, there’s a lucky lottery player out there who’s just woken up to a massive windfall.

A single ticket holder has won the £4million jackpot in Saturday’s draw – and it is currently unclaimed.
