Interestingly, the teaser ended with a note that season 4 would premiere in winter, but it didn’t specify whether that meant the final months of 2024 or the early months of 2025. Also joining season 4 is Sibongile Mlambo who has been cast as Imani Okoye, a savvy record executive. Chris Redd has been tapped to play Early Tyler, a popular figure in the neighborhood who offers his friendship with a high price. Real-life rapper Pardison Fontaine will play musician B-Rilla who is being courted by Lou-Lou’s lable despite being in prison.

Based on Starz executive Kathryn Busby’s comments about the upcoming season, it’s clear that Kanan’s story is far from over after season 3. Season 4 will likely continue to explore the rift between Kanan and his kingpin mother Raquel, and give the future crime lord a few more harrowing experiences. Raquel’s murder of Detective Howard will probably bring all sorts of heat down on the family, forcing them to take even more drastic action. Since the prequel series is all about how Kanan came to be the ruthless killer he was in Power, Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 4 might be the darkest yet.
