A Taylor Swift Fan Correctly Predicted Her Outfit For the Chiefs Playoff Game Against the Texans

You know Taylor Swift would walk fly a thousand miles if she could just see Travis Kelce tonight.

Less than 24 hours after Swift was photographed wearing a pretty Reputation-coded look in New York City, the 35-year-old pop star has arrived at Arrowhead Stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs playoff game against the Houston Texans.

Today’s game marks the Chiefs’ first post-season game after securing the top seed in the AFC (American Football Conference). Not only did this ranking earn the team a bye week—allowing quarterback Patrick Mahomes to witness the birth of his third child with Brittany Mahomes—but it also gave them home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, all but guaranteeing Swift’s attendance. After all, the only home game she missed during the regular season directly conflicted with her final Eras Tour concert.

While Swift’s New York City detour on January 17 briefly called her attendance into question, Taylor Swift style expert Sarah Chapelle predicted the singer’s Chanel earrings teased her attendance at Kelce’s upcoming game. Why? Because the last time Swift wore Chanel, she was watching the Chiefs beat the Texans on December 21.

“In my mind, this creates a bridge as Taylor certainly knows that what she wears will be identified and traced to previous instances,” Chapelle wrote in the early hours of January 18, adding, “I also wouldn’t be surprised if we saw her in Chanel tomorrow at the game.” It turns out, Chapelle hit the nail right on the head.

On January 18, Swift arrived at Arrowhead Stadium decked out in Chanel’s 2025 resort collection, pairing a black playsuit with a pearl chain belt that somewhat mimics the effect of the gold chains on last night’s Area jacket and skirt set.

Swift wore the ensemble nearly the exact way it was styled on the runway, completing the look with a black and white tweed coat. However, she gave the cruise collection a winter spin with black tights, knee-high boots, and a pair of black leather gloves. Oh, and Chanel’s classic quilted purse, of course.

Of course, there was never much doubt about her game-day plans. On January 13, Travis Kelce practically assured fans the pop star would be in attendance during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

“Is there going to be an aura in that place, a little bit extra? You know what we’re talking about,” McAfee asked Kelce, seemingly referring to Swift.

“Oh, yeah, you know it, baby,” Kelce responded. The tight end also referenced one of the pop star’s most famous songs while discussing his feelings on the matchup, telling McAfee, “I’m fired up. I’m feeling 22 all over again.”
