Rams TE Tyler Higbee and Wife Malea Higbee’s Relationship Timeline

Los Angeles Rams star Tyler Higbee has the sweetest sideline support in wife Malea Higbee.

“What a wild couple months it’s been. Watching this love of mine put so much work in and grow into someone better and stronger is special to me,” Malea wrote via Instagram in December 2024 as he recovered from a chest injury. “It’s been a process, but I respect and admire everything about him and his mental strength. Multiple surgeries (mcl acl meniscus AND played with a torn labrum all last year) at year 9 is a hard pill to swallow.”

She added, “I’m so incredibly proud of how he handled pressure with humility, while still championing those around him. Equal parts mentally tough as physically; and that is what makes him an incredible husband and dada first and foremost, a leader, resilient, humble, disciplined, a great teammate, a mf dawg and ‘the greatest tight end in horns history.’”

At the time, Malea also gushed that Tyler is “everything.”

“I am forever in your corner today, tomorrow and always my 89,” she concluded.

Malea posted her first photo with Tyler on April 19, sharing a snap of the twosome cuddled up on a date night. She captioned the upload with a black heart.

The next year, Malea celebrated Tyler and the Rams winning the Super Bowl in a 23-20 defeat over the Cincinnati Bengals.

“My World Champion ,” she captioned game day selfies on the field.

April 2022

Malea announced that she was pregnant with the couple’s first child.

“A new world before us,” she wrote via Instagram, sharing maternity photos at the beach. “We’re so excited to hold our little love .”

October 2022

Daughter Iyla Ty arrived in the fall.

“Incomparable love that we’re so obsessed with already,” Malea wrote via Instagram on October 28. “And if I wasn’t already the luckiest woman with you, you solidified that and more @higbeedoe. Loving our little family for a lifetime and after .”

February 2024

Tyler referred to Malea and Iyla as his “forever Valentines” in a social media tribute.

At the end of Tyler’s regular NFL season, Malea revealed that she is expecting again.

“Family of four! Hearts are so full,” she wrote via Instagram, sharing photos of Iyla next to her baby bump.

January 2024

As Tyler returned from injured reserve in time for the playoffs, Malea was a fixture at the games.

“Proud of my guy, proud of LA and thankful for his health and a team that went above and beyond for him, and all of our safety this past week,” she wrote via Instagram on January 14.
