The Masked Singer Season 13: Ant Identity Prediction & Clues

THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS ABOUT THE MASKED SINGER SEASON 13!The Masked Singer season 13 contestant Ant is one of the 15 mystery celebrity singers competing for the Golden Mask trophy, and there are many clues about her identity. The Masked Singer season 13 welcomed back host Nick Cannon, along with panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora. Group A took the stage first on premiere night, kicking off the “Lucky 13”-themed season.

The Masked Singer season 13 Group A included five contestants: Honey Pot (Cedric the Entertainer), Fuzzy Peas (Oscar De La Hoya), Coral, Paparazzo, and Ant. The latest installment of the show will once again feature theme nights, including Shrek, Ghostbusters, Grand Ole Opry (in honor of its 100th anniversary), Rat Pack, Voices of Olympus: Unmasking the Gods, Carnival, Boy Bands, and Decades Nights. In addition, Soundtrack of My Life Night will return. As Ant moves on to the next round of the competition, which is the Group A finals on Rat Pack Night, here are the clues to figure out her true identity.

The Panelists Guessed A Variety Of Singers

Based on Ant’s Masked Singer season 13 premiere night performance and clue package, the panelists made some guesses about who she might be. Rita thought that she sounded like Lea Michele, and put the clues together to fit the actress and singer. However, Robin thought that actress and singer Lindsay Lohan might’ve finally joined The Masked Singer as Ant. As for Jenny, she started off thinking that Ant might be singer Kesha, but she then said that she didn’t have Kesha’s voice. She then offered singer and actress Ashanti as a guess.

During The Masked Singer season 13 Shrek Night, Ken guessed that Ant was Kesha. Robin thought that she might be an actress who sings, and stuck with his original guess of Lindsay Lohan. Jenny disagreed, and she predicted that she might be Evan Rachel Wood. However, the clues actually point in the direction of a different singer: Aubrey O’Day.

Ant Has Been Through A Traumatic Experience

When Ant first came out on stage during the Masked Singer season 13 premiere night, Jenny noticed that she was young and had energy, as she came out dancing. Robin added that she was fun. Ken gushed that Ant was adorable, and Rita declared that she was obsessed with her. For her first performance, Ant sang a powerful and moving version of “Just Give Me a Reason” by P!nk.

Ant’s clue package began with her meeting her costume. She said that she loved her, and she promised to do her justice. Ant then stated, “Why am I an ant? The thing about ants is that they’re small and mighty. And did you know that they can carry over 50 times their body weight? But just because you can carry a heavy burden, doesn’t mean you should have to.”

As Ant was shown walking through a storm, she then revealed, “I’ve been forced to bear a deep, dark secret for my entire career.” From 2005-2006, Aubrey starred in the MTV reality TV show, Making the Band season 3, which followed the creation of the music group, Danity Kane. The show was produced by Diddy (Sean Combs), with whom she had a tumultuous business relationship. He even fired her from Danity Kane. Diddy was arrested and indicted in 2024 on multiple charges.

Ant then looked at a dollhouse that was next to a candelabra with three candles. In 2008, Aubrey and Danity Kane released an album called Welcome to the Dollhouse. Ant continued, “And, because of this secret, powerful people tried to erase me, to brush me off, to stomp me out.” Ant then saw a tree with a red X on it, from which she backed away. Ant added, “The weight of it broke my spirit, broke me.”

As the sun came through the storm, Ant said, “But, recently, I made a decision. I could stay broken, or I could be a warrior.” She then picked up a purple witch hat with a gold star on it. Ant proclaimed, “That’s the reason I’m here: to fight for my voice, to be heard, and make any ant march towards real change.“

After her performance, Ant cried as she said, “I’m really here on stage tonight for all the survivors. I see you, anyone that has had to endure, I see you. I support you. Together no one will ever stomp us out.” In her confessional, Ant was brought to tears as she shared, “This past year has been very traumatic. I didn’t even know that I could get on the stage and do it tonight. I was scared all the way down to my first note, so it felt very special to have that moment. Very, very special.”

Ant Has Overcome Her Past

During The Masked Singer season 13 Shrek Night, Ant sang a spectacular version of Katy Perry’s “Wide Awake.” Ant began her clue package by revealing which Shrek character she identified with the most. She was locked in a tower, and said, “Every classic fairy tale has a villain. I know I’ve certainly had mine. Like Princess Fiona, I too was trapped in a tower, frozen, isolated because of someone else’s dark motivations.“ An alarm clock then rang at 6 o’clock.

Ant continued, “He was my own Lord Farquaad, who sought to own my power. He was oppressive, vain, and cruel.” This is most likely another reference to Diddy. Ant then sprayed over a portrait of Lord Farquaad with a can of pink hairspray. In 2008, Aubrey starred on Broadway in Hairspray as Amber Von Tussle.

Ant continued, “He told me, in order to get ahead, that I would have to obey, to be submissive, sweet, and, above all, silent.” Ant then looked in a mirror as she said, “But secrets make you sick. And, recently, I took a look at myself in the mirror and I realized that it was time to break out of my prison, and take control of my own story.“

As the mirror broke, Ant looked at herself in a shard of its glass. She shared, “Looking back, I wish that other people wouldn’t have had to suffer like I did.” She then took a compass pointing west out of her backpack. Ant concluded her clue package by saying, “I’m here to write the next chapter of my fairy tale on my own terms.” At that point, she used material to make a rope to escape from the tower.

After Ant’s performance, another clue was given about her identity in the form of a fairy tale storybook. The title of her fairy tale was, “The Golden Ant.” Ant explained, “Well, I suppose it’s because my golden voice got me two certified platinums!” Aubrey’s songs, “Body Love High” and “Couple Goals” are certified platinum. In addition, Danity Kane’s song, “Damaged,” went platinum.

The Masked Singer season 13 panelists had some great guesses for Ant, based on her clue package about being a survivor. She was very brave to share her story, and she poured her emotions into her stunning performance. Whoever Ant turns out to be, she’ll surely march her way into the Lucky 6 finals.
