BRITISH businessman Campbell Scott is feared to have been kidnapped, tortured and murdered after going missing in Kenya.
The 58-year-old Scottish man’s body was reportedly found by animal herders dumped inside a sack of pineapples just days after he first vanished.
The body of Campbell Scott, a senior director with data analytics company Fico, has been found in KenyaPA

Campbell was last seen in Nairobi on February 16 before cops launched an extensive search for him after capturing his final movements on CCTV.
The Dunfermline resident, who works as a senior director with the data analytics company Fico, was spotted walking around in a Scotland kit the day before he vanished.
Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) say the footage showed Campbell leaving the JW Marriott Hotel with a man dressed in a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
They then got into a car before driving off, say Capital News.
A body was later found dumped in a sack on February 22 by animal herders in the Makongo forest, sat 60 miles southeast of the capital, The Times reports.
Initial investigations into his death say the Brit was most likely tortured before being strangled to death.
Local administrator Thomas Maitha told Kenya’s The Standard Newspaper: “[Campbell] appeared to have been tortured.
“The body, which was in a bad state, prompted us to escalate the matter further.
“In addition to the physical injuries, the killer had tied his hands from the back, and stuffed the body in the sack which had been packed with ripe pineapples.”
Campbell’s death was confirmed by his employers on Monday night.
They told The Sun: “Fico can confirm that Nairobi police have identified the body of Campbell Scott, a Fico employee.
“Campbell went missing last Sunday while on a business trip to Nairobi.
“We are not sharing further details, as the investigation is in the hands of the police.”
Police said they had been given statements from at least six people from the JW Marriott hotel where Campbell was staying.
Two people have since been arrested, including a taxi driver and a waiter, according to Capital News.
The UK High Commission in Nairobi is working with local authorities to help in the investigation.
The Foreign Office in London is also supporting Campbell’s family.
A spokesperson for Fico paid tribute to the Scot with a touching statement this week.
“We are devastated by this tragic news. Campbell was a leader in our international Scores business,” they said.
“He joined Fico in 2014 and was instrumental in introducing Scores to new markets and growing our business with existing partnerships.
“We mourn his passing and will miss his humour and kindness.”
DISAPPEARANCE TIMELINE
Campbell arrived in Kenya last weekend and was seen for the final time around 11.15am on Sunday.
The 58-year-old was on a business trip with a colleague for a three-day conference with officials from the UK, US, and several African countries.
His colleague reported him missing on Monday evening after being unable to reach him on his mobile.
By 7pm, the hotel advised that the police were contacted sparking a search involving hotel security and management as well as officers from the Parklands police station.
DCI detectives spent days scouring local bars and hotels in the Westlands district for information relating to Campbell.
His body was then found less than a week after he first went missing.
