A KNIFEMAN has been shot dead by police in Paris after he reportedly ran at cops in complete silence with a blade in each hand.
The suspect is said to have “thrown himself” at officers in Dugny, seven miles from the city centre, this morning.

An investigating source revealed the details around the standoff.
They said the man was sitting at a bus stop with a knife in each hand.
“When police turned up, he ran towards them, without saying a word,” the source added.
One of the officers then used an electric stun gun but failed to control the crazed man.
Another officer then quickly opened fire with his pistol and hit the suspect in the chest.
There were attempts to revive the man but he was declared dead at the scene.
An investigation was immediately launched by the Seine-Saint-Denis territorial security service, as well as the National Police General Inspectorate.
Police and forensics were seen at the site of the man’s death earlier today.
French police have already been rocked by a deadly stabbing rampage in recent weeks.
On Saturday, several police officers were targeted in a horror terrorist attack which left one dead in the city of Mulhouse.
The stabbing spree was reportedly carried out by a “known terror suspect” who shouted “Allahu Akbar” as he stormed through a busy market square.
French President Emmanuel Macron told reporters: “It is an Islamist terrorist act – that is beyond doubt.”
It follows a series of attacks across Europe in recent weeks.
Last Friday, a Syrian refugee reportedly attempted to slit the throat of a 30-year-old Spanish tourist from behind in Germany.
The suspect attacked at Berlin’s Holocaust Memorial and said he wanted to “kill people out of hatred of Jews”, cops have said.
Just days earlier, Germany was again rocked by a suspected terror attack when an Afghan asylum seeker ploughed his car into a group of demonstrators in Munich.
A 37-year-old mother and her two-year-old daughter were killed in the attack and injured at least 26 others.
Two weeks ago, a 14-year-old boy was stabbed to death by a Syrian asylum seeker.
Officials say the 23-year-old was motivated by “Islamic terrorism” before his alleged role in the bloodbath attack that left five others injured.
