The start of the video shows the woman inconspicuously walking into a police station with a large shopping bag on March 23.
Inside the blue and and yellow bag is an object about the size of a shoe box, which appears to be the explosive.
She paces up and down before sitting down on a bench inside the room.
A police officer notices her and starts talking to her, but the woman appears to be using her phone.
She constantly goes back and forth between using her phone and putting it back down.
It is unclear whether or not she was actually calling someone or attempting to activate the bomb.
She stays seated for about a minute before the police officer starts to notice something is not right.
The officer approaches her, still from a safe distance, having noticed that she is not acting naturally.
He stands a couple of metres away from her, before she suddenly makes a quick lean towards the bag.
The camera footage instantly flashes to white as the bomb explodes in her face.
Reports said that the unnamed woman initially survived the explosion.
It ripped off all her limbs and she died shortly after due to blood loss.
Two police officers were seriously injured, while one officer suffered moderate injuries.
All three are receiving medical treatment, according to Ukraine‘s security service
Authorities said they are investigating the cause of the blast, and reports have said they are treating the incident as a terrorist attack.
Local media highlighted that Odesa has been under repeated Russian attacks in recent days as part of Putin’s bloody war.
Other reports claim the woman from Odesa had lost her husband after he was drafted into the Ukrainian army and killed.
Those reports claims she allegedly acted to take revenge on those responsible for his mobilisation.
A spokesperson for the National Police of Ukraine, Yulia Hirdvylis, said: “We do not rule out that this could have been a commission from the Russian intelligence services.
“As you know, they recruit Ukrainians, not only adults but also children.
“The intelligence services recruit our citizens to commit such crimes, offering money which is never paid, and as a result, people become targets, victims of crimes, or face inevitable punishment – imprisonment.”
