SPANISH police are searching for a missing Brit who has vanished after reaching the Costa Brava.
The 24-year-old from Manchester left the UK in a van, which has been found abandoned and empty at a viewpoint overlooking the Mediterranean near the popular resort of Tossa de Mar.

Police and firefighters launched a two-day search involving a helicopter and drones last week before calling the operation off late on Thursday.
His family reported him missing on April 30.
Catalan news website El Caso reported on Sunday night that investigators revealed the Brit travelled to France via the Eurotunnel on May 1 and spent time in Portugal and Spain before his mobile phone lost signal near Tossa de Mar.
A spokesperson for the Mossos d’Esquadra, the Catalan police force, described the two-day search: “It was a land, sea and air search which took place on Wednesday and Thursday.”
She added: “The investigation into the missing man’s whereabouts is continuing.”
It is unclear what Catalan police are currently doing as part of their investigation.
The Mossos d’Esquadra force also led the investigation into rugby player and X Factor star Levi Davis who disappeared in Barcelona in 2022.
The last confirmed sighting of Levi was of him leaving an Irish pub in the Catalan capital on the night of October 29 2022 after taking a boat from Ibiza.
Meanwhile, a British tourist who went missing at Alicante airport at the end of March after a stag do in Benidorm was found.
Jason Taylor, 36, vanished as he waited for a flight back to Birmingham, sparking a police manhunt which ended with relief nearly four days later on April 1 when he was spotted walking along a nearby beach.
Police sources said after he was found that the fact he did not have his mobile phone on him had caused complications.
Tossa de Mar is about 60 miles north of Barcelona and the same distance south of the French border.
