The driver’s wife, 38, was also hurt, according to Bild.
It is unclear if the driver intentionally drove into the crowd, according to reports.
At least one person has been seriously injured, according to emergency services.
The incident occurred around 3.30pm near the main train station in the Bavarian city.
“At this time, it cannot be ruled out that the man deliberately drove the vehicle into the group of people,” police told local media.
Cops are urging anyone with relevant information to contact the authorities.
It comes after two people were killed when a car sped through the busy German city of Mannheim in March.
And just weeks later, at least six people were injured when a car hit a crowd in Berlin.
Cops said the driver sped up before veering out of control and leaving one person crushed underneath the car.
