At Los Angeles Anime Expo 2025, Netflix announced the release date of Beastars Season 3 Part 2. Beastars fans are a little disappointed after Netflix postponed the release date from 2025 to 2026.
The final season of Beastars is divided into two parts. The first part of the final season consisted of 12 long episodes and was released on 5 December 2024 on Netflix. The final episodes of Beastars Season 3 Part 2 will conclude the story.
Though Netflix disheartened Anime fans after the announcement of the final episodes’ delay, it treated them with a few sneak peeks. Like a teaser of the last part’s synopsis, informing fans what awaits them, and also a brand new poster of the final season’s second part.
Beastars Season 3 Part 2 Synopsis
Season 3 Part 2 starts where Part 1 ended, Legoshi’s confrontation with Riz. After this, Legoshi decides to leave school and live alone in the Beast Apartments. On the other hand, Louis, after leaving the Young Beastars and graduating from the academy, decides to face Ogma, his father. Although Haru enjoys her campus life, she faces numerous troubles.
During this time, the current Beastar, Yahya, looks for Melon, a criminal who kills beasts for his amusement. The most anticipated plot twist is to see the fates of Melon and Legoshi intertwined by a secret closely held by Legoshi’s family.
The successful anime series is an adaptation of a manga series from writer-illustrator Paru Itagaki. Originally, the manga was published in 22 volumes from 2016 to 2020. The previous 36 episodes released on Netflix covered the story of the first 14 manga volumes. The final season, both Part 1 and Part 2, will cover the remaining 8 volumes. The animation of the final season will be developed by Studio Orange.
