A BRITISH tourist has drowned off the coast of a popular holiday resort, under mysterious circumstances.
The 26-year-old was discovered unconscious in Lindos on August 16, before passing away.

Emergency services raced to the scene, after the Central Port Authority of Rhodes said it was informed of an incident at sea.
The unnamed Brit was later declared dead at the Archangelos Health Centre.
Reportedly, the Forensic Medical Service has now ordered an autopsy to uncover how the man died.
The UK Foreign Office told The Sun: “We are supporting the family of a British man who died in Greece and are in contact with the local authorities.”
The news comes after a Scottish dad drowned whilst on a boat trip with his family.
John Nelson is believed to have died while off the coast of Turnuc, in Turkey.
The 47-year-old passed away on July 31, while is son Josh and partner Sharon Stuart.
Sharon took to Facebook to break the heartbreaking news that John had passed away.
Sharon wrote: “Totally heartbroken to announce the passing of Josh’s dad, John Nelson, whose life was tragically taken away at sea during our first family holiday in Turkey.
“We are lost for words and totally devastated. John had turned his life around for the better.
“We were so proud of him. We’re just so grateful he got the chance to spend this last time on holiday with Josh, living his best life.
“Our life will never be the same without him. We will always love you forever.”
John’s son, Josh also shared a tribute to his dad saying that his father was his “role model and best friend”.
He set up a GoFundMe to help raise money to pay for John’s funeral.
In an online appeal, he said that “any donation” would mean “the world” to his family.
Josh wrote: “My family and I are now facing the difficult task of arranging his funeral and covering the costs to give him the farewell he deserves. I’ve set up a fundraiser to help us during this heartbreaking time.
“Any donation, no matter the amount, would mean the world to us. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this would be an incredible help.”
