It features ace PGA gold professionals like Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, and Rory McIlroy, and their personal and professional challenges, and BTS of games. Also, a gist of how it’s one of the biggest tussles between the U.S. and Europe.
Why Netflix is Silent About the Launch of Full Swing Season 4?
We all know Netflix is enthusiastic about its upcoming creations, but in the case of Full Swing S4, it’s a candle burning low. The makers of the series have marked it as officially ‘in production.’
The reason for Netflix’s silence could be declining views and viewer retention of the series. Season 1 launched in February 2023 and made a grand debut with 58 million hours, but dropped to a noticeable 3.5 million hours by 2025. Season 2 aired in March 2024, observed a similar pattern of dipping curves in views from 31.3 million hours of watchtime to 3.1 million hours by 2025. Netflix is persistent about its sports content and is probably following a ‘spark in the dark’ approach to the release of Full Swing Season 4, as the series might not have a booming and crazy crowd-pulling, but it has a loyal fanbase. Also, golf is considered an elite sport rather than a mass sport, attracting a relatively niche audience and a specialized, dedicated fan base.
