HOODED vigilantes have attacked migrants in Madrid following the suspected rape of a 14-year-old local girl by a Moroccan man.
Spain is the latest European country where migrants housed amongst locals have caused tensions to boil over.

The Madrid attack targeted a centre housing young migrants after the arrest of a person staying there.
On Sunday evening, two hooded people assaulted a group of three near the First Reception Centre in the Spanish capital – two children and an adult.
One child needed hospital treatment but has since been discharged.
Police are investigating.
Francisco Martín, the government’s representative in Madrid, slammed the violence.
He said that “hate speech ultimately manifests itself in hate crimes” and vowed the “full force” of the law against the attackers.
A Moroccan youth was arrested on Friday morning on suspicion of raping a 14-year-old in a nearby park in the city.
A judge ordered him to be held in a closed juvenile prison while the investigation continues.
The conservative regional government demanded the accused man be included in a group of 37 migrant minors branded “maladapted” for life in Spain and and considered for deportation.
Protests have sprung up outside hotels housing asylum seekers around the UK once again this summer.
In Poland and the Netherlands, groups of locals have been patrolling the German border ready to bounce any migrants attempting to enter.
The Swiss city of Lausanne erupted into violent rioting last week after the death of 17-year-old immigrant during a police chase.
Youths torched buses, lobbed Molotov cocktails and pelted police with stones in fury.
Dutch capital Amsterdam was thrown into grief after a 17-year-old girl was brutally murdered – allegedly at the hands of a migrant already facing charges of rape and sexual assualt.

Officials on the Canary Islands are demanding a state of emergency be declared by the Spanish government as thousands of migrants stack up.

Portugal is rounding up small boat arrivals and whisking them straight to the police station.
A judge gave them 20 days to voluntarily return to Morocco or face deportation.
Greece‘s Conservative-led government has pledged to bring in a “disincentive-based policy” to deter migrants.
Migration Minister Thanos Plevris recently told Skai TV: “From now on, the government will follow a policy of drastically reducing benefits.”
