The 23-year-old, who boasts just under 4 million followers on TikTok, made her final post the day before she disappeared on August 31.

In her final video, she wore clown makeup while lip-syncing to a song entitled ‘Why Are You Leaving?’.

Authorities said that she “may be the victim of a crime”, with the Michoacán State Attorney General’s Office issuing an ‘Alba Alert’ for the content creator.

Fans have since expressed their concern via Izaguirre’s comment section across her social media accounts, with one determinedly stating: “We’ll find you.”

Many followers were also quick to point to her likeable personality, with one, Ari, adding: “I sincerely hope they find her soon. She was a very good person; she was always very nice to everyone.”

Izaguirre’s rise to social media stardom has also seen her launch a pop career under the name Flor Izaguirre.

She released her top song ‘Boom Boom’ in July 2023.

Her disappearance comes after another Mexican influencer was found dead wrapped in plastic on August 22.

Esmeralda Ferrer Garibay, 32, was believed to have been executed cartel style after her body was discovered in a grey Ford Ranger pick-up truck.

The bodies of her husband, Roberto Carlos Gil Licea, and their two children were also uncovered alongside her.

The TikTok star’s body was dumped in the car at a mechanic shop in the city’s San Andrés neighbourhood where forensics uncovered bloodstains and spent bullet casings.

Evidence suggested that the killing was intentional and heavily linked to her 36-year-old husband’s alleged affiliation with cartels.

Investigators suspect that Licea’s business ventures in Michoacán, specifically vehicle trading and tomato farming, may have attracted the attention of organised crime groups.

Both Izaguirre and Garibay have very successful social media careers in the fashion and lifestyle industry.

Although Garibay’s following is not as large – she has still amassed over 40,000 followers on TikTok

Her content sometimes featured lip-syncs to “narcocorridos”, which are ballads glorifying the country’s drug culture.

Izaguirre’s final TikTok was eerily similar, however without reference to Mexico‘s narcotic links.

While Izaguirre and Garibay’s cases are not believed to be linked, both have occurred in the state of Michoacán.

Authorities issued a missing persons notice for Izaguirre on Tuesday September 2.

The investigation into her disappearance is still ongoing.
