TIME CEO Jessica Sibley shared the following news with staff on Thursday morning:
Team,
I’m pleased to share that Michael Erlinger will take on the role of Chief Legal Officer at TIME.
Reporting directly to me, Michael will oversee TIME’s legal operations and team, while continuing to lead business affairs and operations for TIME Studios.
Over the past four years, Michael has strategically formulated and streamlined the TIME Studios dealmaking process and worked closely with our finance team to track, analyze and report on the business. He has also played a key role in the success of numerous TIME Studios projects, including Frida, Dirty Pop, Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words, as well as the upcoming Stevie Wonder-MLK Holiday documentary and Christina Aguilera documentary.
Michael brings decades of experience from previous roles at Meredith, Time Inc., GroupM, Sony Pictures Television, ABC Entertainment, and more. He studied Government at Georgetown University and holds a JD from UCLA School of Law.
Please join me in congratulating Michael on his new role.
Best,
Jess
