THIS is the terrifying moment a mum is killed in a Wild West-style shootout after opening fire on a travellers’ camp.
Dolores Dori, 44, reportedly drove to the settlement in the hope of retrieving her daughter – who was living there with her boyfriend and his family “against her wishes”.

Dolores left her home in Camponogara, near Venice, Italy on October 2 with her husband, 16-year-old son and 59-year-old mum.
Cops said the group travelled to Lonato del Garda camp, near tourist hot-spot Lake Garda, where the daughter was living.
When they arrived at the residency’s gate, Dolores and her mum then opened fire.
A resident, who has yet to be identified, then shot back – hitting Dolores in the leg and stomach.
The woman was rushed Desenzano del Garda hospital where she later died from her injuries.
Horrifying footage captures the moment the two women jump out of the car and open fire at the camp.
Loud bangs followed by the growl of a car engine blast in the background as the family make a quick escape.
The victim’s husband and teenage son later appeared in a video threatening the alleged killer.
Holding a pistol, the widower said: “If you’re willing to fight, I’ll take you down.
“If you don’t send her back home, we’ll come and take her ourselves.”
Police have since seized two bullet-ridden cars used in the confrontation.
They have also released footage of the shootout, recorded by Dolores’s son on his phone.
The teenager and Dolores’s mum have been taken into custody, while Dolores’s husband remains at large.
They face charges of jointly committing aggravated attempted murder, unlawful possession of firearms, and making threats.
The camp was evacuated and sealed off by police on Friday (3 Oct).
A Carabinieri spokesperson said: “The motive for the crime appears to be a personal dispute between Sinti families over a romantic matter involving their children.”
Sinti are a subgroup of the Romani people, mostly found in Germany, France, Italy, and Central Europe.
“Investigations are ongoing to fully reconstruct the events and identify those responsible,” they added.
It comes just weeks after a gunman killed his former wife’s new partner and her mum outside a hotel before turning the gun on himself in a horrifying shooting.
The shooter also left his ex-wife seriously injured in the terrifying attack in Naples, Italy.
Two victims were found on the road outside a hotel, while the third victim died from their injuries in hospital.
