Craig Conover Shuts Down Paige DeSorbo Breakup Rumors

Craig Conover is setting the record straight on whether he and Paige DeSorbo have called it quits.

“I don’t know where that came from, because we’re together, like, every week,” Conover, 35, told E! News in an interview published on Monday, December 9. “So, no, Paige and I are not broken up. We’re still together.”

Conover noted that he and DeSorbo, 32, are still going strong, which made the speculation surprising.

“I would have given you a reason for that rumor to start, then I think I would have to defend it,” he added. “But I don’t think me and Paige did anything.”

Conover also denied rumors that he and the Summer House star were plotting to go their separate ways on camera for show ratings.

“Why would we do that?!” he said. “Remember back in high school when people would gossip? Like, I got most dramatic in high school. I’m a huge gossiper, but just don’t take everything so seriously.”

Despite smooth sailing for the couple, Conover admitted he and DeSorbo will not be taking the next step in their relationship soon.

“I don’t have a ring,” he said. “I would like to one day. I’m having a lot of fun challenging myself in New York City now. The company’s going really well in Charleston. I just don’t wanna cut off everything that we’re both doing. We’re on these parallel paths and it’s really exciting. I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes.”

Conover and DeSorbo confirmed their relationship while attending the September 2021 wedding of her Summer House costars Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke.

“We did get a little drunk at the wedding and threw a Story up there from the photo booth,” DeSorbo told Us one month later. “[But] I’m just waiting [for] the right scenery to happen to snap [an official] pic.”

The couple went Instagram official in December 2021 after attending the season 8 Southern Charm wrap party in Charleston. “Sew in love,” DeSorbo captioned a pic, referencing Conover’s company Sewing Down South.

Two years later, DeSorbo revealed to Elite Daily that she and Conover almost tied the knot during BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas. “I said, ‘Let’s go do it in a chapel,’” she recalled of the trip. “Craig chickened out, though.”

Conover was pleased with their decision. “I’m not going to get married in Vegas. I want something more real than that,” he said, while DeSorbo joked, “What’s more real than me, you and Elvis, honey?”
