1970 Plymouth Road Runner Gets Rowdy Hellcat Makeover

The Plymouth Road Runner is a popular classic muscle car, but one skilled owner transformed his ride into a jaw-dropping masterpiece called “Hell Runner.”

Armed with an eye for detail, the owner explained that the car was solid when he first acquired it, boasting “good bones.” However, he didn’t settle for just good; he had a vision. He started on a comprehensive restoration journey that included replacing key components such as the quarter panels, roof, and trunk pan. The car even underwent a meticulous mini-tubbing process to accommodate larger tires wrapped in low-profile tires.

What’s truly impressive is that the owner personally undertook most of the restoration work at home. The process included an extensive body paint job, intricate detailing, and the use of a rotisserie.
