Prince William ‘banned from video shop after renting out sexy film for too long’

Prince William was banned from his local video shop while at university because he never paid his late fines, it has been claimed.

As an undergraduate student at the University of St Andrews, William’s most rented out video was said to be comedy Boat Trip.

It tells of two friends accidentally ending up on a gay cruise and features Swedish actress Silvstedt riding a banana while wearing a bikini on the cover.

A former shop assistant, named only as Zoe, said the heir to the throne rented out the video on DVD multiple times.

Zoe also claimed the young geography student was eventually banned for returning DVDs too late.

She told The Sun: ‘We used to serve Prince William quite regularly in the video shop in St Andrews before everything went digital.

‘His DVDs were always late and his bodyguards would never want to pay the fines.

‘We would end up, because it was just part of it, we had to ban Prince William until he paid up, which he always did in the end. He’s very nice.’

But Zoe revealed to those who had not watched Boat Trip that is was ‘not very good’, despite starring Cuba Gooding Jr.

She said: ‘It’s got a very scantily clad lady in a blue bikini riding a banana. He rented that a couple of times at least.’

It is not known if Kate Middleton, who attended university with William, watched the film with him.
