When the notorious Alexander brothers arrive in New York, they will not be heading for the exclusive nightclubs, fancy restaurants and raging parties to which they were once accustomed.
If it’s any consolation though, the one-time real estate titans will be hanging out with the likes of Sean “Diddy” Combs, Sam Bankman Fried and alleged murderous insurance avenger Luigi Mangione.
The three Miami-based brothers, Oren, Tal and Alon, have been arrested and jailed on multiple counts of sex trafficking by a federal judge in New York, meaning the millionaire real estate brokers will be brought to the city’s only federal lock up, Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn (MDC).

Sources close to the Alexanders – who have all pleaded not guilty – said they were going to be hauled from their native Miami all the way to New York by bus, a trip set to last up to five days, and are expected at the MDC early next week.
As high profile inmates accused of sex crimes, they will almost definitely be assigned to an area of the jail known as 4 North.
It is a dorm facility that houses 20 inmates, all of them high value and in danger of getting roughed up by the general population. That is where one will find Diddy, awaiting trial on sex crime charges; Bankman-Fried, convicted of financial crimes; and anti-capitalist chick magnet Mangione, accused of gunning down a healthcare CEO.
“That’s where they will have to go,” Gene Borello, a former mob enforcer who did time at MDC, told The Post.

“[4 North] is all people with millions of dollars and high profiles,” said Borello. “They’re not violent and every talks and hangs out.”
Plus, there is air hockey and, according to Borello, “with the right cop, you can spend all night watching television.”
If things don’t go as expected, and the brothers somehow wind up in the general population of MDC, Borello fears, “It’s a whole other story. If they have a sex-crime charge and they go to general population, they’re lunch meat. They’ll get hot water thrown on them or something. They won’t last 24 hours.”
Jeff Nadu, who hosts the crime-history podcast “The Sitdown with Jeff Nadu,” described the general population conditions at MDC as “nonstop cutting and stabbing and fighting.”
It’s enough to make the “very small beds,” not-very-private toilets and meals highlights including so-called ‘murder burgers’, described as “a thin patty like shoe leather” to look forward to.
